Overview

Frontline Projects is a job-documentation app for contractors and field teams. You create projects, add photos and notes, and generate reports. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We sell your data to no one.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and company name, used to sign you in and to share projects with the people you choose.
  • Project content — the projects, photos, voice and written notes, customer details, and reports you create. Photos may include location (GPS) and capture-time metadata when your device records it.
  • Location — when you take or import a photo, we store the location associated with that photo so it can be shown on a map. We do not track your location in the background.
  • Diagnostic data — basic, non-identifying information needed to operate the service (for example, error logs).

How we use your information

We use your information only to provide the app: to store and organize your projects, to sync them across your devices, to share them with collaborators you invite, to generate searchable AI descriptions of your photos, and to produce reports. We do not use your content to advertise to you.

AI features

To make your photos searchable, images you add are sent to our AI providers to generate a short text description and a search index. Voice notes may be transcribed to text. This processing is performed solely to provide search and transcription within the app; your content is not used to train third-party models.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of vendors to run the app, who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms:
  • Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Anthropic — AI photo descriptions (Claude).
  • OpenAI — photo search indexing and voice-note transcription.

Sharing

Your projects are private to you unless you share them. When you share a project or folder with someone, they can see (and, if you allow, edit) that content. You can change or remove access at any time.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your content until you delete it or delete your account. You can permanently delete your account from Account → Delete Account in the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, projects, photos, notes, and reports. Content you contributed to projects owned by others is removed from those projects as well.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to your content is restricted by per-user authorization rules. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

Children

Frontline Projects is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
